For some reason I thought you might be a woman, but now realize you might be a guy? Right? I love your most recent photos because I love industrial stuff. I don't know why, but I think it has something to do with growing up around heavy equipment. I can operate a backhoe, bulldozer, drive trucks, learned to weld and use steel to create art at UCLA, and love, absolutely love the industrial part of any city or town. Simply because it's stunning. Your last photo is beautiful. I don't think the door is the focus because you have that big old thing hanging out in the photo just in front of it! To my eye, that's the focus. Just an observation.
It's nice talking to you and good luck with your work. Your photos really are beautiful. And thanks for the comment on my blog.
I've change my mind. It is the door. I came back today to take a peek at your newest photos and looked at this one again because I really do love it. You're right. It's the door.
There are certain photos that stand out in my mind: this one of yours; the dock with the crane used to unload ships on 1Pic's blog (I think it was taken around Dec. 19th), and on JR's blog, the saxaphone player (B&W) as well as the tree in his most recent post. I was telling a friend via email the other day that the level of talent and creativity is mind bending on blogs. After just giving that a bit more thought, I will have to agree with myself!
Always great talking to you and I will attempt to respond to your comments on my blog today if I can find the time. I'm going to need an assistant if this continues! Thanks for checking in now and then, it's always fun to hear from you and thanks for your kind thoughts. Hope you're having a great day.
