She wandered into my picture and improved it!

Quack!

This is one of two surviving ducklings from a litter (clutch?) of four in Swanshurst Park, Birmingham. They're a cross between a mallard and some sort of toffee-coloured duck with a tuft on it's head which seems to be a crossbreed itself.

Kitten

A photo I know Suzanne will love!

This kitten lives in our road and is up for sale. I hope he goes to a good home.

BMMO D9

As requested by '54bomber!
BMMO D9 at Wythall Transport Museum.

Not to be confused with a Routemaster ('London' buses).

This is the bus seen in the photograph Bus Spotter.

This was built in 1965 and is shown here in Midland Red livery. It has recently had it's offside suspension unit replaced and is now going to have the same done on the nearside.

For more of my transport photos (including more of BHA 399C), please visit Hawke Transport Photography (which is also in the links listed at the side of this blog).

Bus spotter

He's in his element. He's sitting on a 1965 BMMO D9 and he's so busy with his notes, he doesn't notice me photographing him.

Hiding

This is the cat you saw jumping onto the wall in 'Ghost Cat'. It thinks it can hide behind these twigs!

RWARRRR! Don't worry, it's stuffed.

Sorry it's a bit blurry.

Old school

A bit naff, I know, but I was experimenting

What is it?

I thought this would be quite easy, but someone at work couldn't work it out. Here are two different photos of the same subject. See if you can guess what it is (no looking at the comments!).

Running out of inspiration!

Help! I'm running out of ideas of what to take photos of!

Remember, you can request photos/post ideas. (Can't guarantee anything though!)

In a circle

I was at a friend's house and was messing about with my new camera in the when I noticed the circlular pattern in the paving bricks in the garden, so I asked my friend to sit in the circle. She was very obliging and did so! Thanks for the permission to post it!

Pigeons are like chickens - daft but lovely!

New camera

I have a new camera!

And it's another Fujifilm FinePix!

It's an S5500. I bought it on eBay and it seems fine so far. It's a few years old. It has 10x zoom and 4.0 megapixels. It is not an SLR. I can actually control the shutter spead, aperture etc. and it has manual white balance! Imagine!

But expect only slightly improved photos ;-)
